IA Baptism

Today I'm going to be baptized. Usually it's done when you are an infant but it took awhile for everyone to get together so we ended up doing it in IA since it was easier for Daddy's family.

After church we had a get together at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Picnic time

This is the second year for Grandpa and Uncle B's birthday picnic. Last year I was in Mommy's belly and H was only month and a half old. Now Grandpa has his hands full.

Here I am chilling out with Great Grandma. I don't get to spend much time with her so we hang out when we can.

It was a hot August day, so Mommy and I were having fun in the shade. We did have a couple of spiders visit us. Icky. We had yummy food and the boys played horseshoes. Good thing I took a nap before the picnic or I would have missed all the fun. Mommy had to drive me around the park about 3 times so I would have a good nap. What a good Mommy.

Here's Cousin H, he hung out with us in the shade too. He really liked the water bottle but did not like the grass!

Later that night I got to see my buddy L. His Daddy let me eat his icky watch. I'll put anything in my mouth these days. Better watch out.

Another trip to IA

We made a stop in Iowa City to have lunch with C & R and their daughter P. Here I am showing her my favorite toy that Daddy made me, a vitamin bottle with bottle caps in it. He's super proud of it, Mommy just rolls her eyes.

Later in the afternoon we made it to K&Bs house. While the ladies were busy frying up chicken for the picnic, the boys were busy working on their stupid, as Mommy calls it, Fantasy Football.

I was just happy to be out of my car seat and eating!

All I do is read

Chillin' with my books. Give me a book and I'm happy. Somehow Mommy caught me with my book upside down, normally I read like I should. Guess it was more interesting this way.

Bye Bye

It was time for H and his parents to go home. We took some pics before they left. H didn't want to have anything to do with me. There is a video of my beating up H and him crawling away but it would take too long to upload so you'll just have to take my word for it.

I wasn't too happy when they left. That means that Daddy will be back to torturing me. Booo!

Oh well, I will find comfort in my remotes. They are yummy and fun to play with. Sometimes I press a bunch of buttons and Mommy can't figure out what I did. he he.

Getting together with Family

Wait a minute, that's not Daddy! Uncle J and I were trying to sneak up on Mommy but she caught us, she has supersonic ears!

We went to the park and hun gout with Cousin A. He spent most of the time snoozing cause he's still little.

I wish I was snoozing, it would be better than being stuffed in a swing with H. Our parents are so mean to us, well it will come back to them later. HA HA.

To IKEA...again

More visitors this weekend. Hotel S is always open and busy! This weekend Cousin H visited with his parents. Mommy took a half day and met them at IKEA! I go there a lot. H's parents picked up some stuff to hold all his toys.

While waiting for Daddy to get home, Uncle J read us my favorite book. Later we went to Mimi's for dinner, it was yummy. There were other kids there so we weren't the only noisy ones.

Picture Day - 9 months

Today is picture day for me cause I am now 9 months old! First we stopped at Why-Poi's house to drop something off and then it was off to JCP for pics.

Normally I don't like to cooperate or take good pics but these turned out pretty good.

Day 2 with the C's

Day 1 with the C's

Today's plan is to have fun! We started off the morning by playing with some of my toys. I don't mind sharing, I like having play dates.

Next we went out to mini-golf. It was really warm that day. Mommy wasn't sure if I would make it the whole time in the stroller, but I did!

Mommy thinks that the girls won, but she can't remember exactly. Oh well, it was still loads of fun.

Later that day Daddy inflated the pool and we went for a swim. I like this way better than the big pool. L kept splashing, kinda of rude cause it was getting in my eyes, but that's what icky boys do, make a mess of things.

At night we got a treat, M read us a story. That was a nice end to a day.
