Puppies, but none for me

I went to my first birthday party today. My buddy D, turned 5!


I also got to meet their new puppy Penny. She's a puggle and likes to chew on anything and everything, hmmm, that sounds familiar.


Here I am chilling with Mommy's best friend C. I was exhausted by the end of the party and ended up falling asleep in my carrier even with all the noise. (There was a lot of it!!)

Mommy says it looks like I'm doing a robot dance. I just like waving around my arms and Mommy likes to take pictures and catches me in funny poses.

Visiting a friend

Today I stopped by my buddy D's house. He was born a few months after me. Mommy and his Mommy work together. Mommy looks way too happy holding a much lighter (in weight) baby! Don't forget me Mommy, even though I feel like a lead weight, you know I'm your favorite.

I hate tummy time

I do not like tummy time. I cry and cry instead of figuring out how to roll over or lift my head. Mommy says its because of my big ol' head and that its too heavy. I'd much rather lay on the floor and do nothing (I got that from Daddy too!!)

Toy overload

These toys came with the highchair, there's more to it that's not in the picture, but there is a lot going on!! It also plays this obnoxious (Mommy's word) song over and over as the animals go around and around. Mommy says she hears the music over and over, even after it has stopped playing.

Let's try eating in the highchair

Eating in the highchair was definitely a better experience than the Bumbo. The chair is a little big and I like to eat with my feet up (I got that trait from Daddy).

Here I am just chilling and goofing around. Like my froggy feet, I got this cute outfit from Uncle B & Aunt K.

I like to slouch, I got that from Daddy too.

First Feeding

Today I had my first feeding. I'm not sure what I think of this yet, but Mommy and Daddy sure think its funny.

I've decided I do not like eating from a spoon. (This was only a few minutes later!)

how's my new look?

I like to play on the floor and grab for toys. I found this one on Daddy, who knew that glasses would be so much fun?! So what do you think, are they me?

My Mommy loves me

Do I look like Mommy? Mommy says we have the same round face and dark hair and dark eyes, but that's cause Mommy is dominant. Daddy just says whatever when she makes that comment. Whenever I'm stubborn or won't do what she wants, Mommy says that's Daddy's fault.

Rolling, rolling, rolling...

I've started to roll, but this is as far as I go. Plus my motivation was the TV, cause that's what I'm staring at in the picture. Im' going to be a TV addict like my parents.

Bumbo and me

Mommy got me a Bumbo. I'm not too sure I like it.

New Sleeping Arrangements

When I'm at Why-poi's, she sometimes puts me to sleep in the stroller. Silly, but it works.

Posing

Mommy takes a lot of pictures of me. Why-poi says Mommy's pictures are better than the professionals. This one is pretty good.

I have a secret...

I have a poopy diaper!!! He he. I sure am stinky sometimes. Daddy tricks Mommy and says "Baby wants you" and Mommy always falls for it. Silly Mommy, she's caught on though and tries to do it back to Daddy. But she loves me and does diaper duty anytime. I'm happiest after pooping. Mommy thinks my first word will be poop.

Nummy fingers

My fingers are nummy. Some days its just two, other days its all four. One day it was the thumb but that didn't last very long. They taste good, wanna try?

I'm the next Karate Kid

One of my favorite past times is chillin' on the floor. Sometimes I roll, but only to one side. Other times if I have a bib on, I pull it onto my face. Most of the times I just wave my arms and legs around and Mommy just happened to catch me in this pose.

Piglet is my friend.

This is my favorite toy. Piglet and I kiss a lot. Piglet's usually soaked by the time I'm done.

Red Velvet Cupcakes - by J

Part of Mommy's Valentine's Day present was Daddy making red velvet cupcakes. Can you believe it? Daddy in the kitchen!!

Almost done.

Mommy says next time, get a present that doesn't involve getting the kitchen dirty. Mommy was finding red cake mix EVERYWHERE!! Even way in the corner, Daddy what were you doing with that mixer!?

Good job Daddy, you did it and they were yummy.

Happy Birthday Why-Go!

Why-goh's birthday was on Valentine's Day but we celebrated today. They had a yummy tapas buffet for lunch while I slept through most of it.

Mommy, why do you insist on poking my cheeks? Oh I know, cause they are cute and chubby.

Do I need to say more? Aren't I perfect?

Professional Pics - 3 months

Mommy finally felt brave enough to take me out and get photos taken. She didn't think I would smile and she was pretty much right (Mommy is always right). We had to wait awhile because JCP was short staffed and they were behind schedule. There was another baby that was crying so it would have been okay to join in but I didn't. The photographer took a bunch of photos and at the end decided to try me on my tummy, boy was that a mistake. Mommy and Daddy told her it would make me upset but she didn't listen. That was the end of the photo session.

Visit to see Great Grandma!

This weekend I get to meet Great Grandma for the first time. I saw her on the webcam but its just not the same. First we spent the night at Grandma and Grandpa's and I got to meet my "brother" Y. He's nice and soft and we got along great!

Normally we go to IA for Christmas but since I arrived this year we didn't get to go. So we still had Christmas in February. I got some cute clothes and books. I love books.

It was so warm this weekend, it was super hot at Grandma's. Here's me saying, are we done yet?

I got to meet my Uncle B, Aunt P, Cousin M and Cousin L for the first time too. I was too tired to smile for this picture.

Mommy's first day back at work.

Mommy had to go back to work today. She said it wasn't too bad. It was busy at work so her mind was kept busy instead of thinking about my cute self. Daddy and I sent her flowers, aren't the pretty. Mommy thought she was getting flowers for Valentine's Day cause she saw the credit card statement but she was surprised when she got them today.

Hello, here I am on our comfy couch. I haven't mastered the action of sitting on my own. Mommy and Daddy try, but I always end up leaning...

You make me happy.

Daddy makes me smile. His favorite thing to get me to laugh is trying to grab my tongue when I stick it out. Or he likes to drop the burp cloth on my face and pull it away fast. Mommy thinks its Daddy's face that make me laugh.


Mommy's voice is the best even though it is high and squeaky. It makes me laugh the most.
