Old Things

This is Daddy's high chair from 33 years ago. I can't believe Grandma and Grandpa still have it! It's probably not up to code but it still works.

The whole reason we went to IA was to celebrate Cousin H's first birthday! Happy Birthday!!

Just another day in IA

We spent the morning hanging out with Yugi. That's the cute black kitty in the picture.

Its only fitting in IA to wear my IA gear. I got a bit of drool on it but oh well.

I got to much on some crackers, but not the crackers themselves, just the entire package. I liked it but I think it would have been better without the plastic.

For dinner we went over to visit K and his parents. We had fun hanging out. I was a total lady and just tickled him.

But he went for a kiss!! Daddy is not going to be happy! :D

More food and fun.

Today we got to have lunch with our friend L. We got this super cute picture together before I started to crash. I was kind of tired and needed a nap but made it through lunch ok.

After a nap, we went to Uncle J and Aunt N's house. I got to hang out with their doggie C. He's huge and likes to give me icky wet kisses.

They also had a kitty M. She's super soft but didn't want to play with me.

We're still in IA. Today Uncle J came to visit, we got to hang out for a few minutes before he and Daddy went to a baseball game. Even though his hat was stinky, I look pretty cool in it.

After the boys left, Mommy and I went to the mall to hang out with L and his Mommy. We walked around and had some lunch. Daddy, Mommy was good that day, she did not buy anything.

After the mall, Undy B and Auntie K took us to the animal rescue league. I got to play with a kitty. I LLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEE kitties!!!!

Visit with Great Grandma

Today we went to see Great Grandma. She is lots of fun to hang out with. I don't get to see her much cause she lives far from me, but when I do, I am super excited.

We went out to lunch by a lake. It was fun, can you tell? I got lots of drool.

Cotton Candy anyone?

Auntie K and Undy B got a cotton candy maker. It was fun but messy. There were candy wispies floating everywhere and the bottom of our socks were pink cause the candy dust was all over the floor. I think I was already asleep when they were making this mess, so I didn't get to have any but I heard it was yummy.

Here's Daddy's candy, it looks pretty good.

Vacation to Iowa

Here I am on my way to IA. I was like this for most of the ride, but that's ok, there isn't much to see on the way.

We stopped at the Univ of IA and had brunch on the Pentacrest.

Daddy and I got our picture taken in front of the Old Capital.

Mommy had to get a pic with a Cambus. She misses driving one of those.

Finally we get to Aunt K & Undy B house. I get to play with a new toy. Looks like I've got mail. Who wouldn't want to write me and send me presents??

I'm chillin' out in one of the theater room chairs. Its quite comfy and I've already taken it over with my toys! I luv toys.

Father's Day

I got presents for Father's Day! I got this fun t-shirt that says STIN KI PU, which I am ALLLL the time! Daddy calls me that a lot, that's why Mommy got this shirt.

I also got this bib that says Poopy Stinkerpants. He he.

Daddy also got a Family Guy Trivial Pursuit game because he loves to watch Family Guy and he's Rainman when it comes to trivia. Besides getting the game he also found my first TOOTH! So that is the best present of all. :)

B's wedding

This weekend we attended a wedding reception for Mommy's friend B and A. Congrat!

I like having dinner in different places, there are lots of distractions!

Here I am with B's sister T and her son E. I'm too busy checking out E to be bothered with the camera. Mommy and T grew up together, maybe it'll be the same for E and I. :)

After being tortured at the pool, Mommy and Daddy took me to the park and I got to try out the swing. Before getting into the swing, Mommy had to wipe it down while Daddy made fun of her.

I drooled and it was a windy day, so it went flying right at Daddy! Mommy said ha ha, that was for making fun of her. I love swinging, it is so much better than being in the pool.

I got to drive my own pink car! Daddy, let me go, I can do this myself. Look out, here I come!

My First Swimming Experience

Mommy decided that we should try out swimming. I had no idea what was going on, but knew I looked super cute in my swimsuit.

The first few minutes were ok. There were a other kids in the class and I like other kids.

After 5 minutes, I decided that I do not like swimming, it is not fun and I want no more of this! I cried and cried the rest of the class. Mommy was embarrassed but oh well, I always get my way. We only went to a few more classes after this one. Maybe when I'm older and can stand on my own it will go better.

Ahhh, much better, I'm away and out of that awful pool.

We had visitors this weekend. I love my Undy B, we have fun and go to IKEA all the time.


We went out to dinner at a mexican place. Everyone else said it was yummy, but I didn't get to try, maybe when I'm older.

Grandpa pants

There is never a dull moment when Dad is around. Daddy seems to think pulling my pants up to my arm pits is hilarious. I suppose I don't think it's that bad either.

What? What did you say about me? I can't believe it, how rude!

Learning early

Daddy is all about saving money, so he's teaching me early to start cutting coupons. Now we just have to get Mommy to remember to use them at the store!

Too many boys in the house

This weekend some friends from Iowa visited, they were ALL icky boys! Thank goodness there was a break in all the boyness when they went to a Cubs game.

I don't know what Mom was thinking, why would I want all these toys when I'm getting ready to eat? I know what to do...

My favorite time...being with Daddy.

Daddy is attempting to read the magazine to me but I'd much rather eat it. Daddy don't you know by now that girls always get their way, better get used to it. I also had my 6 month check-up today. I am 18.6 lbs and 27" tall. My head is 45cm, its huge! Don't buy me any shirts without snaps are flexible necks, cause I hate getting stuck.

I love remotes!

If I'm crabby, hand me a remote and I'll be happy. I like to eat them and press the buttons. Sometimes I press all kinds of buttons and Mommy and Daddy have a hard time figuring out what I did! I'm apparently really crabby cause I got 4 remotes!!!
