National Pig Day!

March 1st is National Pig Day. First created in 1972 by two sisters, Ellen Stanley of Texas and Mary Lynne Rave of North Carolina, the day celebrates and appreciates one of the most intelligent of the farmyard animals—the pig. Brookfield Zoo was celebrating the day with pig inspired events. We were supposed to go with C and her kids but she ditched us. :( We went anyways but missed out on all the pig stuff. We did see one pig but he was a bit sickly looking. Anyways we still had fun.
